Our Story

I've loved every minute of the journey

In 2011 I turned a talent and passion for baking pies into a way to raise funds for people with disabilities in third world countries. I was joined by a dedicated team of volunteers who donated time, apples, pie plates, sugar, flour and time, helping peel bushel upon bushel of apples for the cause, most recently in South Sudan, which had fallen into a bloody civil war. Hundreds of pies and thousands of dollars later, my pie baking skills were even more finely honed.

In 2015 I retired from my job with a non-profit organization and decided to open a small pie business that would allow me to continue giving in various ways, including donating pies to raise funds for those who need their share of the pie in life!.

Mainly through word of mouth, a small but loyal following has developed. I will make any pie to order, or from my selection of delicious classic favourites. They can be ordered baked, or frozen unbaked. They are always ready to pop into the oven when you want to fill your kitchen with the aroma of freshly baked pie!

Hand crafted pies, butter tarts and other baked goodies, made with free range eggs and a social conscience, My goal is to lighten your entertaining load with treats that your guests and family will love, while making a difference for good in the world.

I send out flyers by email at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas--if you want to be on my email list, simply let me know via the contact tab. There is a deadline for ordering for these special holidays.

Normally you can order anytime--a little notice. via email, call or text:905 960 2189, or this website, is helpful. but I will do my best to get you a pie in a hurry when needed.
